Ed Davey - Liberal Democrats have stopped Heathrow expansion before, and we can again

When Liberal Democrats sat round the cabinet table in the coalition government, we stopped the expansion of Heathrow.

When Liberal Democrats sat round the cabinet table in the coalition government, we stopped the expansion of Heathrow.

There were Tory minister around that cabinet table who wanted it to go ahead, but we stopped them.

Now there are no Liberal Democrats in government and fewer Liberal Democrat MPs in parliament, the Heathrow expansion is going ahead.

The Tories have pushed it through and Zac Goldsmith has proved powerless to stop it.

So my conclusion is: We need more Liberal Democrats in parliament.

On the 1st December, if you want to stop Heathrow expansion, use your powerful vote for Sarah Olney and the Liberal Democrats so we can really stop Heathrow.
